At the Culinary Institute of America, you can advance from novice to know-it-all in just a single week of intensive instruction.
In the Italian Cuisine Boot Camp curriculum, topics include olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee and espresso, wines, meats, antipasti, pasta, and cheeses.
Your day begins at 6 A.M. (with breakfast, naturalmente) and ends at 6:30 P.M., with a three-course meal in the school’s fine dining room.
The scenic Hudson Valley campus hosts newbies and enthusiasts alike—and offers additional Boot Camps in Pastry, Asian Cuisine, French Cuisine, Mediterranean Cuisine, and Wine Studies.
