Sa-Weet!

Rich, strong, and sweet.

What more could you want from a beverage?

Made with sweetened condensed milk, Vietnamese coffee—also known as ca phe sua—has a fiendish following, and for good reason. It tastes like hot coffee ice cream. Below, instructions for how to join the cult:

1. Buy a special one-serving press.

2. Pack press with 2 tablespoons of dark French Roast, preferably with 10% roasted chicory.

3. Pour 3/4-inch sweetened condensed milk into a glass.

4. Place press on top of glass, and pour nearly boiling water to the top.

5. Drip.

6. Drip.

7. Drip.

8. Stir.

9. Ecstasy.
