So where's the national attention you so richly deserve? How can you share your kitchen prowess with the teeming masses—without waiting for the Food Network to discover you?
The third annual Chocolate Adventure Recipe Contest, that's how.
TuttiFoodie and Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker once again give you a shot at culinary recognition—or simply a reason to get into your kitchen and play, discover, and explore. Create a recipe using Scharffen Berger dark chocolate (41% to 99% cacao) plus at least one "adventure ingredient" from the list: pandan leaf, paprika (any varietal), sumac, banana leaf, black-eyed peas, cacao nibs, crystallized or fresh ginger, cumin, fresh mint (any varietal), fresh or whole dried chili pepper, Malbec, papaya, peanut butter, rice flour, raw honey, smoked sea salt.
Submit your recipe between October 1, 2009 and January 3, 2010. Our fabulous judges will do the rest.
The rewards? Two $10,000 grand prize winnings—one in each category—Sweet and Savory, plus a custom created gift box of Scharffen Berger's delectable chocolates and publication on TuttiFoodie and in the Scharffen Berger e-newsletter. Two deserving second-place winners'll receive their just-desserts as well.
