Lemongrass-Ginger Vodka
We infused vodka with fresh lemongrass and ginger, for a lush, zesty and exotic taste. Hint: the longer the ingredients steep, the better.
The Goods
750-ml bottle, vodka
2 stalks, lemongrass
1 large piece, fresh ginger
The How-To
Peel
outer leaves of lemongrass stalks and discard, then chop off ends and discard.
Slice
remaining portion of stalks into thin rounds and add to vodka.
Peel
ginger and thinly slice, then add to vodka.
Steep
infused vodka for at least 24 hours and up to a week.
Strain
ginger and lemongrass by pouring mixture through a sieve.
Return
infused vodka to the original bottle, using a funnel.
Thai-tini, anyone?
